MySpace Music offers a very unique opportunity for up and coming musicians who want to get their music out there and make a name for themselves. It is a great way for those garage bands and wanna-be musicians to get their first chance at popularity.

When setting up a MySpace Musician account, you will need to sign up as an Artist. This option allows you to offer music downloads and tour dates, something that won´t be allowed with a regular MySpace account. It´s pretty simple to get started, though you can always get fancy later on.

As you set up your MySpace music account, you´ll want to make it public, available for anyone on the internet to check out. Otherwise, you´ll basically be hiding your music.
